​I am an assistant professor at Boston University in the Department of Earth and Environment. I study how people come together to solve human-environment challenges under conditions of change, uncertainty, and scarcity. By looking at how people make decisions and the rules and norms that structure them, I provide insights into how people can optimally design institutions for adaptation to environmental change.
